Ifri - Daybed, 2025

Ifri is a meditation on form, texture, and legacy. Bronze legs rise seamlessly from the seat in a gesture that echoes my earlier works—an evolving signature that blurs the line between structure and sculpture. The seat is upholstered in handwoven fabric by Aïssa Dione, whose atelier preserves and reinvents age-old weaving traditions with contemporary clarity. The silk’s fine irregularity pairs with supple leather accents, bringing together strength and softness in quiet dialogue. Rooted in elemental materials and timeless craft, Ifri invites rest and reflection—an object shaped by hands, and histories.
